Description: On the precipice of the Munich Security Conference, EU and NATO members were left out in cold by the US and most notably their Vice – President JD Vance. The message that the Trump administration has sent is that EU and NATO countries would have to fend for themselves in future endeavors and that would be excluded from the Ukraine peace talks. With this novel United States that is much alike a far – right country than a global force for progress and development, Europe would have to rally its proverbial political and diplomatic troops since it would be facing the next crisis without the ever-present US support. Ultimately, the security conference emphasized that the prevalence for world dominance has been left vacant as the dissolution of the unified front between the US and the EU leaves a power vacuum which could be easily occupied by China or Russia.
